He's on the Move!
Brady-man decided to finally put the pieces together and start crawling a few days ago. Here is a quick snip of him in action:
We had another great beach weekend with the fam. They even took care of Brady Friday night so Nick and I could sneak away to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. It was sooooo relaxing-we were both ready for a night sans baby. It my the first time we left him with others overnight and it was a big success. I think we should do that more often (Aunt Brenda, you ready?)...!

Central Oregon Trip
We spent the last 10 days of June on the road in Central Oregon. Turns out traveling with a baby isn't so much of a vacation as it used to be. We are now calling our travels "trips" instead. :). All kidding aside (actually we aren't kidding about that), we had a great time and Brady was a good little traveler.
We spent the first half of the trip at Black Butte Ranch. We were there to help celebrate the wedding of our close friends, Brian and Katherine. We even had a sitter so we were able to enjoy the day sans baby! It was a great party! While at Black Butte we also did some bike riding and swimming, it was really pretty despite the lack of sun :).

After leaving BBR, we headed northeast to Kah-nee-ta Resort for a five day family reunion with 110 of our closet Curran relatives. Kah-nee-ta was the perfect place for our TRI-annual reunion. So many fun activities on-site, like hiking, kayaking, swimming, golf, horse back riding, and so much more. We had several meals together as a family and spent lots of time visiting and catching up. Brady was able to meet many of his family members for the first time-it was fun to introduce him to everyone. Here are a few shots from the week.

All in all, it was a fantastic trip with great friends and family. We were ready to head home after the ten days away, even though Brady and I turned around and left town for the beach two days later! More on that another time...

We have a nine month old?
Brady is officially nine months as of yesterday-wow!
He had his check up this afternoon and passed with flying colors. He remains a skinny-little-minnie but is healthy and growing like a weed. Poor little guy had to get some blood drawn. He wasn't too happy about it at first but calmed down within a few seconds of having it done. He passed out on the ride home, as he was past his nap time and I'm sure the appointment took it out of him. Here is a shot of his little bandaged arm from the blood draw, seconds before falling asleep.

What a great nine months we've had with Brady-Boy. His current favorites include: standing, trying to cruise along couches and tables, playing the "coffee table game" (throwing magazines, books, coasters, etc on the floor one at a time), and eating any and everything we put in front of him. He's also starting to wave and is overall just a happy, smiley baby. We love you, little nugget!
